Looking for a sugar-free, high-calorie dessert to support your weight gain or muscle-building goals? This creamy and refreshing tahini ice cream is the perfect healthy snack, combining the rich flavors of sesame and halva in a cool, satisfying treat.

Ingredients

2 cups milk

4 egg yolks

1 tbsp honey

½ cup tahini

100 g halva (crumbled)

½ cup ground almonds

Method

Heat the milk in a saucepan over low heat until warm.

In a separate bowl, whisk the egg yolks, then slowly pour in the hot milk while whisking.

Return the mixture to the pan and cook gently, stirring constantly, until it thickens like pudding.

Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature

Add the tahini and crumbled halva, and blend until smooth

Pour into a freezer-safe container and freeze, stirring the mixture every hour for 4 hours.

Once done, leave to freeze fully for at least 8 hours

Serve as scoops topped with crushed almonds.
